We are a group of gentlemen and ladies with a passion for motorcycles and helping our community. We take part in the Gentleman's Ride/Dapper Ride Gibraltar every year and raise money for Movember and a Gibraltar based charity. The Gibraltar Society for Cancer Relief is the 2022 chosen charity which you can make a contribution to above.
Dapper Riders Gibraltar have 7 key human values which we believe should be lived by every day and aim to promote in our actions
.
Dapper Riders Gibraltar are committed to continuing our fundraising efforts for Movember via the Gentleman's Ride. We also aim to alternate our fundraising annually for two Gibraltarian charities; Cancer Relief Gibraltar and Clubhouse Gibraltar via the Dapper Ride.
The first Gentleman's Ride Gibraltar was organised in 2016 by best friends Andy Watts and Dale James Moreno and was a great success with 60 riders raising £8,859.12 for Movember.
The success of 2016 cemented the event as the annual motorcycling highlight of the Gibraltarian calendar and the event continued to increase in popularity.
2019 saw Andy move to the UK and Dale teamed up with Tyrone Gracia (of Rock Liberty Customs) and Stephen 'Bone' Jones to continue building on the success of the Gibraltar Ride.
In 2021, after communicating with many of the participants of the ride it was clear that there was a desire to raise money for a local charity. This is when Dapper Riders Gibraltar was born with the aim of raising money not just for Movember via the Gentleman's Ride but also for a Gibraltar Based charity via the Dapper Ride. £9,872 was raised by 82 riders for Movember and £660 was raised for Clubhouse Gibraltar.
2022 saw the biggest year for the Gibraltar ride with 115 bikes participating. £5,908 was raised for Movember and £8,794 was raised for Cancer Relief Gibraltar.
The search to improve the ride has continued and this year the organisational team has grown with the addition of Clive Crisp, Charles Savignon and Liam Vasquez. 2023 promises to be our best yet.
